I'm going to write in English, because my Italian is pretty poor. In Italia there used to be the Lippomano family, which is now considered as dead. It's partially true, but not at all. Some part of this family moved to Poland and made a living there. As I know this family had some connections with Poland due to Aloysius and Luigi Lippomano. Now there is a gap between Italian part of the family and a Polish part. The first known Lippomano family members in Poland are greatgrandparents of my grandfather. Later the surname was changed to Lippoman to make it more Polish(Propably by the children of the first known Polish Lippomano). We know that originally it was Lippomano thanks to the letters.
Accually I'm here to ask you for a favor. My grandfather has been looking for our crest for a huge part of his life. I have found the orginal crest because of this forum and i'm very thankful
If not but you know how I can find it also tell me, please. If you have any questions, feel free to ask them. I'll try to answer them.
Michal Lippoman
