Giovanni Barilli

Gent.mi amici del Forum,
sono di Milano e Vi disturbo, in particolare coloro che hanno condotto e conducono ricerche archivistiche in Lombardia, perchè mi sta capitando una coincidenza davvero singolare: cercando informazioni su una medaglia della legione d'onore conferita ad un mio trisavolo (Bernard Louis Adolphe Berthe, medico militare, vissuto tra il 1810 e il 1892) e regalatami da mio padre, sono entrato in contatto, via web, con un cugino francese di 6°, 7° grado, appassionato di genealogia: si chiama Jean Reneè Berthe ed è un viticoltore di Montpelier.
Ci stiamo scambiando documenti, per integrare reciprocamente le informazioni circa l'origine in comune della nostra famiglia; e sembra ci siano i presupposti perchè il più antico nostro antenato possa provenire proprio Milano (Ducato), sebbene quel ramo della famiglia si sia successivamente ramificato in Francia.
E sarebbe davvero singolare che dopo 500 anni, proprio un milanese (io) potesse in qualche modo stringere il cerchio attorno ad una famiglia "sviluppatasi" prevalentemente in Francia.

Con la presente sono dunque a chiederVi, ringraziandoVi anticipatamente, un aiuto: per poter risalire ed avere informazioni più precise relative a "Giovanni Barilli" avreste qualche suggerimento da darmi?

1/ Giovani Alberto Barilli, born in Italia before 1470 in the area of Milano. He died in the town of Foix ( Ariège, France) circa 1530, the legend said that he is the younger son of an italian marquis. He came in France from Italia for fighting after an earl of Foix. He was captain of cavalry. His wife is unknown.

2/ His son was Gilbert Barilly ( french changement of the name ) born in the town of Foix circa 1495 or 1596, he died in Donchery near Sedan circa 1575. He studied laws and civil rights in Toulouse, he became advocate and bailli in Mezieres near Sedan, then "prévôt" in Warcq. His wife is unknown.

3/ Two sons are known :
A / Pierre Barilly born ca 1527 or 1528 and died in Donchery ca 1593. He was royal notary and the oldest member of the Donchery Prévôté notaries. His wife is Marson Berthe who is the daughter of Pierre Berthe , other notary of Donchery. B / Gilbert François, born Donchery or Mézieres in 1530, died Donchery circa 1605. He married Jeanne ...........(?). He is merchant and apothicar.
Children who are attribute to him : ( I do not agree because it is not logic, but I write to you as it is written, I think with logic that Pierre and Marson who have the same names are the children of Pierre Barrilly and Marson Berthe )
a / Pierre born in Donchery ca 1567 or 1568, died Donchery, married Rose Warin, merchant and apothicar. (following)
b / Marson born ca 1563 or 1570 married Jean Maillard
c / Louise born ca 1572 married Jean Giljay/Gilson
d / Thomas ( the eldest ), born in 1560, died at Donchery ca 1640. He was ploughman. He married Catherine Blanchegorge from a Donchery's notary family.
e / Thomas ( the young ) born ca 1572, died at Illy (near Sedan) in 1650. He married Gilette Henon. He wa ploughman.
f / Beranard born ca 1566, died in 1621 Donchery, alderman of Donchery. married with Jeanne ...... (?)
g / Vaucher born ca 1569, died in Donchery 1645, he married Jeanne de Lapierre

4 / Children of Pierre (precedent a) :
a / Pierre, born at Donchery 1591 or 1592, died at Donchery 29 of september 1672, parish-priest of Sugny.
b / Poncette, born and died at Donchery 1593-1657, she married Guillaume de Mangre
c / Alizon, born Donchery 1594, she married Jean Berthe (born ca 1585/1590).
d / Jean, born 1596, married Jeanne Parent
e / Marson born Donchery may 29 1598, nun.
f / Gilbert, born Donchery may 7 1601, died in Floing. merchant apothicar Donchery and Sedan 1646. He married Charlotte Capitaine
g / Louise, born 1608, married Damien Vivier.

Berthe è un nome abbastanza diffuso , specialmente nel nord della France , la francesizzazione di Barelli ( Barelly ) lo è un po' meno

A meno non capiti un colpo di fortuna inaudito, è ben difficile ottenere notizie su presunto avo vissuto nel XVI Secolo, senza un adeguata ricerca genealogica di generazione in generazione ( indietro nel tempo ).
Comunque tutto è possibile
