Dinastia Nemanjić e Innocenzo III

Leggendo le pagine di questo sito http://genealogy.euweb.cz/balkan/balkan5.html, ho letto che il Papa Innocenzo III era legato da rapporti di parentela con la famiglia Nemanjić, cioè i Re di Serbia, in particolare per il matrimonio tra una sua parente, di cui però non viene fatto il nome, con Vukan Nemanjić (nato verso il 1165 e morto verso il 1207), Principe di Duklja e di Raška.
C'è qualcuno che può darmi delle informazioni più precise.

Nel 1202 Vulkan manifestò qualche interesse per la Chiesa Cattolica , in previsione ad un possibile appoggio da parte degli Ungarici alla sua ambizione al trono di Serbia.
Ebbe una moglie ( non meglio identificata ) che gli diede almeno quattro figli :
1.Đorđe
2.Stefan
3.Dmitar ( David )
4.Mladen
Tuttavia non ho rinvenuto parentele con Innocenzo III .

Anch'io ho trovato queste notizia, ma anche quel riferimento alla parentela con Innocenzo III. Anche in questo sito, come nell'altro che ho indicato di sopra, si dice che aveva sposato una parente di Innocenzo: http://fmg.ac/Projects/MedLands/Contents.htm, nei seguenti termini:

Stefan Nemanja & his wife had five children:
1. VUKAN (-[1209]). The life of St Sava by Domentijan names "le prince Volkan, frère de l´autocrate Etienne" when recording that he rebelled after the death of their father. He was appointed Grand Knez of Zeta (Duklja) by his father by 1190, as an appanage of Serbia. He was passed over in the succession to Serbia, on his father's abdication in 1196, in favour of his younger brother although the reason for this has not yet been ascertained. From this time, Vukan called himself King of Duklja and Dalmatia, asserting himself as an independent ruler, which was recognised by the Pope and by Hungary. He accepted Papal supremacy and became a Catholic. He attacked Serbia in 1202, deposed his brother, and succeeded as VUKAN Grand Župan of Serbia, at the same time recognising Hungarian suzerainty. He was expelled by his brother in [1204/05], and returned to Zeta, although tensions with Serbia continued. He abdicated in [1208] in Zeta in favour of his son. m --- [de Segni], relative of Pope INNOCENT III, daughter of --- (-after 8 Jan 1198). The primary source which confirms her parentage and marriage has not yet been identified.

Difficile ( ma non impossibile ) individuare la persona.
Matrimoni tra ortodossi e cattolici , a determinati livelli ed all'epoca erano essenzialmente "alleanze" in funzione di un rafforzamento dinastico , Vulkan era disposto a convertire sè ed il suo popolo per il trono.
