Horace WALPOLE, 4°Conte di Orford, 3°Barone Walpole (* Londra, 1717 + ivi, 1797) figlio del primo Primo Ministro del Regno Unito (1721-1742), apparteneva ad un'antica famiglia originaria di Walpole (Norfolk), cittadina dalla quale prese il nome.
