Francisco PIZARRO fu decorato da Carlo V del titolo di marchese, titolo privo di feudo.
Solo il di lui figlio, JUAN FERNANDO, da Filippo II nel 1578, ebbe il titolo di I marchese de La Conquista (il feudo annesso, fa riferimento a Conquista de la Sierra, provincia di Cáceres, Estremadura, luogo di origine dei Pizarro).
L'attuale discendente e titolare è Don Antonio PEREZ de HERRASTI y NARVAEZ, 15°marchese de Albayda.

PIZARRO
Arma : Parti : au I coupé : au 1 d'or à l'aigle de sable couronnée du champ et tenant dans chaque serre une colonne avec la légende PLUS ULTRA de sable ; au 2 de sable à une ville d'argent posée sur des ondes du même le tout dans une orle de sinople ch de dix lamas d'argent ; au II coupé : au 1 parti a de sable à un village dans une île d'argent les clochers sommés d'une couronne impériale d'or b de gueules au lion d'or couronné du même tenant de sa patte dextre un F du même : au 2 d'argent au lion de gueules couronné d'or. L'écu enté en pointe d'azur au roi Atabaliba entouré de sept têtes en orle le tout de carnation. L'écu entouré d'une bordure d'azur ch de huit griffons d'or sur une chaîne du même chacun tenant de sa patte dextre une bannière. Sur le tout les armes précédentes de Pizarro.





Hernán Cortés venne nobilitato da Carlo V il 20 luglio 1529 con il titolo di Marchese del Valle de Oaxaca. Tale marchesato scomparve con l'abolizione di tutte le signorie durante l'ndipendenza del Messico.
Il titolo nobiliare fu riabilitato dal Re Alfonso XIII nel 1916 in favore di Giuseppe PIGNATELLI ARAGONA CORTES y FARDELLA.
L'attuale discendente e titolare è il Principe del S.R.I. Don Nicolò PIGNATELLI ARAGONA CORTES, 20°marchese del Valle de Oaxaca.

of Aguilar and the Countess dona Juana de Zuniga.
Children:
1. Luis - died a child in 1530 in Texcoco.
2. Catalina - died a short time after birth in 1531.
3. Martin - 2nd Marquis of the Valley of Oaxaca, born in Cuernavaca
in 1532.
4. Maria - married don Luis de Quinones, Count of Luna.
5. Catalina - died unmarried in Sevilla after the funeral of her father.
6. Juana - married the duke Don Fernando Enriquez de Ribera and was
given the title duchess of Alcala and Marquesa of Tarifa.
They had 3 daughters born in Cuernavaca between 1533 and 1536.
