can you speak me about this English king and his dinasty? Is this the same dinasty of Plantagenet family?

Hi conteschweinfurt,

Edward I ( named "the old") was Alfred the Great's son.
He ruled from 899 to 924 and in the early 901 unified all the english people under his reign.
His Dynasty was Saxon, not Plantagent.

The Plantagenet Dynasty was French-Norman (Angioine) people and started in 1216.

However, between Edward the old, and the first of Plantagent king there is a long period : 317 years
