Non sapevo che poi fosse riemerso su eBay.

Interessante l'annotazione del venditore:

"Please check other items that I put on ebay from same collection.

Interessante sarebbe stato sapere quali altri pezzi "from same collection", questo signore avesse messo in vendita.

Qualche anno fa apparve -sempre su eBay e di manifattura assai simile- un pendente di Gran Croce, ugualmente con gioje.

Altro di significativo non rammento.

Dunque,

tutto a questo mondo può essere, ma personalmente, la storia ed i passaggi di questa decorazione lasciano un po' perplessi.

Una commenda del MMThO in brillanti, che finisce a meno del prezzo cui normalmente va' venduta una Croce di Cavaliere (autentica) di quest'Ordine. E non mi si venga a dire "è passata inosservata".

Come detto, già apparve su eBay una Gran Croce di assai simile fattura, alcuni anni fa...

L'oggetto è di raffinatissima esecuzione, cosa che si evince già dalle (ottime) foto a corredo della stringata descrizione, ma a mio parere si tratta di un piccolo capolavoro d'un moderno "creativo".
